Oh, hell, yeah! Now *that's* an episode. So glad they're finally off the ship and we're back to interesting stories. I appreciate a bit of romance, but not as the main point of multiple episodes. Season 2 felt like a soap opera set on a starship.
Thankfully the season ended on a great note. Now I'm a bit optimistic about the third season. Let's get back to exploring strange new worlds and cultures, with romance, sure, but not as the main course.

With this season being a bit different from last season, it might be if we get a conclusion if it doesn’t get a third or a second half of this season. At times, had a definite Alien feel to it. Also, felt a bit like a zombie movie similar to Number One’s comment. I kept saying, it might be easier to hid without shining lights to identify your location. Overall, a great episode and had me snarling often at jump scares and the ending.
On a side note, I thought Christine was stuck in the transporter buffer and never quite made it on board but was pleasantly surprised.

A solid ending to a great season! Bringing back the Gorn makes sense as they have been the bigbad throughout the show. Leaving it off on a cliffhanger hurts; with the ongoing writers/actors strike, there's no telling when we will get a conclusion.
